Product design and brand direction for Everpress, a global fashion marketplace. They offer artists the tools to manufacture, sell and distribute their own creations. No risk. No waste ⬎
The platform lets users create their own clothing designs, sell them through the curated Everpress shop or their own profile or "store", and track their sales. All in one place, and at no upfront cost.
Everpress is made even more unique by it's pre-order sales model aimed at eliminating waste. All products run for a limited time and are produced according to the number of orders at the end of that period (Think of it as the opposite of fast-fashion). With the design system we wanted to have a balance between a strong and subversive brand identity that was stripped back enough to showcase the wide range of designs availble on the site without overpowering or clashing with them ⬎
Working on Everpress was a really interesting cross between a curated and refined ecommerce experience and a creator facing sales tracking and management tool.
The two primary user groups were split into "Buyers" and "Creators" both with different reasons for visiting everpress and seperate user journeys and UX concerns. I did a lot of work across both sides of the site; from including big improvements to the shop, the search functionality, the primary navigation, and the introduction of a favourites feature, to a complete redesign of the sales dashboard and user generated stores ⬎
